How to use this website
The goal
This website allows people to quickly and easily view what size units are available and when and for how much.
Renters can now quickly view when units are available AND then submit a "request" for a reservation for specific dates.
Renters can also send an email to the individual owner if they have more specific questions.
Owners can now let renters know more about their unit(s), some with pictures, and what restrictions they may have without either using the telephone.
For renters:
The List units page displays detailed information about each unit. Here you can determine what size unit you will want for your stay and anything special you require.
The View openings page displays at a glance which units are available and when.
From there, you just click on the month and year you want to view to see what is avaiable.
When you find a unit with an opening, you can then click the Request a reservation
link to be taken to the Request a reservation page.
Then, just fill in your name, desired unit and time frame and an email detailing your
request is emailed to you and the owner.
Note: A "request" is not a guarantee of a reservation until the owner has received payment.
It is then up to the owner to get in touch with you either by email or phone that you provided.
Holiday times are usually the last two weeks in December and two weeks during Easter time. Dec-20 to Jan 1st and March-20 to April-10

Sometimes shorter stays of 5 or 6 nights may be charged at a higher daily rate, subject to check-out cleaning fees, based upon size of unit.
Other Expenses: Rates do not include Hawaii State Tax of 11.42%. In addition, all Whaler guests are charged a $35 check-in fee, which is paid to Aston Hotels, as compensation for it providing "front desk" services. There is also a $7.00 daily fee for parking guest vehicles in The Whaler garage (which is paid directly to Aston, either upon check-in or check-out).
Prospective guests should contact each owner for deposit/payment cancellation policy.
Rates DO NOT include daily maid service which is ordinarily provided only once during a seven day stay (or during each week, if an extended stay). Some owners can provide additional maid service for an additional charge.
NOTE: Prices and dates for High Season are subject to change without notice.
NOTE: A 14 night minimum stay is required during Christmas season.
To ask a question about any unit, list the units, select the unit on the left side and select the "Ask a question" at the bottom of the Unit Information.
For owners:
The Login and Logout pages are for owners only.
Each owner provides a description of the unit(s) they want to rent.
Both the owner and the prospective guest will get an email message regarding the request submission.
The owner will then contact the prospective guest reguarding payment arrangements.
When the owner receives the payment, the owner will then "confirm" the reservation. The ? (indicating "requested reservation") will be changed to an X when the reservation is confirmed.
Note: Only AFTER the owner marks the reservation as "confirmed" will the selected dates be marked as not available.
So please be aware that while you may have placed a reservation, someone else may be ahead of you for the same time slot.
